This is a Wurlitzer Model 5252 Wallbox that was cleaned and restored in working condition. This is one of the most sought after wallboxes and very hard to find, only (approximately three thousand made from 1958-1964). Although designed for the Wurlitzer 2250 thru 2800 200 play jukeboxes they will work with almost any Wurlitzer 200 play wallbox including the Wurlitzer 2000 and Wurlitzer 2100.
It was thoroughly washed with hot water and degreasing detergent. There is no nicotine residue. The unit has been tested and makes all proper 200 selections. This unit is ready to be connected to a jukebox with the proper stepper or can be connected to an ipod or any home stereo with the Data Sync Wallbox Player System.
This wallbox is complete with all coin equipment and also takes HALF DOLLARS. THIS WALLBOX IS DUAL PRICING. That means any series of five records, ten selections, (letters A through V) can be set for either a 10 cent or a 15 cent selection. It has coin indication lights for "5 CENTS" CREDIT (red), "10 CENTS SEL" (yellow) and "MAKE ANY SELECTION" (green).
Coin pricing on top matches current setting. (10 cent selections: 7 plays Half Dollar, 3 plays Quarter, 1 play dime or two nickels; 15 cent selections 5 plays Half Dollar, 2 plays Quarter, 1 play fifteen cents [dime and nickel combinations].
All selections are set on the factory setting of ten cents and can be changed by moving a screw from the ten cent position to the fifteen cent position relative to the letter selection. There is a FREE PLAY MOMENTARY switch installed so one press of the button is the equivalent of dropping in a nickel. Also installed is a FREE PLAY TOGGLE SWITCH. When turned on it will accept any selections until turned off immediately after making a selection.
The pilasters "WURLITZER" and "coin indication windows" are ORIGINAL.
The cover has been rechromed with a mirror like finish.
The cover is ORIGINAL GLASS with original PRESS BUTTONS FIRMLY DECAL.
The original buttons were cleaned and buffed.
Original Wurlitzer WCX Lock and key included.
Included are "10 CENT SELECTIONS" AND "15 CENT SELECTIONS" stickers that can be adhered to any set of pages to indicate pricing. Additional genre headings are also available (see pictures).
