This is a ROCKOLA MODEL 1555 WALLBOX that was cleaned and restored in working condition. It was thoroughly washed with hot water and degreasing detergent. There is no nicotine residue. The unit was tested and makes all proper 120 or 200 selections. This unit is ready to be connected to a jukebox with the proper stepper or can be connected to an ipod or any home stereo with the Data Sync Wallbox Player System.
These wallboxes were produced from 1958 to 1962 specifically for the Rockola jukebox models 1455, 1465, 1468, 1475, 1478 and 1485.
This wallbox is complete with all coin equipment. Installed is a "free play" switch. Simply turn the toggle switch to the on position and the wallbox will continue to operate on free play until switched off. When switching off make a selection and immediately turn the switch to OFF in order to have the wallbox return to the “home” position (buttons do not latch).
There is an option to use this wallbox with either 120 or 200 select models (original toggle switch). This particular wallbox was converted to 100 play and unfortunately the way it was done was to cut off the fingers on the pages instead of using a #4 screw to hold them back. The five fingers that were cut off have been restored by fabrication. All 200 selection pages work perfectly. This wallbox has been restored with the original style numbering system of five sets of forty selections (blue, yellow, red, green, pink). See pictures
This wallbox is presently set on ONE PLAY for TWO NICKELS or a DIME, THREE PLAYS for a QUARTER and SEVEN PLAYS for a half dollar. This was the factory setting (bonus play for half dollar). The coin instructions on the cover are matching. There is an option to change from 10-25-50 play to 5-10-25 play (original toggle switch). The coin cup is an AMI W-120 series cut down to fit.
The cover is ORIGINAL with the usual pitting and scratches for its age. It can be re-chromed (show chrome) for an additional $300.
