This is an ORIGINAL vintage 1972 First Edition NYC MTA Subway Guide Map by Massimo Vignelli. This is the FIRST map by MASSIMO VINGELLI.

This map from 1972 shows each line in its own color. The Myrtle Avenue Elevated line is no longer in service. The Culver Shuttle is still operating.

This is a paper folded map, NOT the laminated car display map. This map is a "VISITOR's" map because on the one side Manhattan is enlarged to enable "visitors" to have a clearer definition of the map. 

Measures approximately 21 7/8" long x 17 7/8" wide.

THIS MAP IS IN MINT NEVER OPENED CONDITION.
