These wallboxes were produced from 1940 to 1949. From 1940 to 1942 they were produced with a chrome finished cover. From 1946 to 1949 they were produced with a satin finish and some were painted hammertone. From 1943 to 1946 WWII haulted production.
There is no motor in this wallbox. There are two #55 (6 volt bayonette) lamps. As the selector wheel is rotated there are 24 contacts that make and break. To operate, turn the wheel to a selection and the number (1-24) corresponding to the selection will be played. A circuit is completed when a coin is inserted.
