This is Wurlitzer Model 5205 Wallbox that was purchased direct from the Wurlitzer factory in North Tonawanda New York in 1974. The unit has been tested and makes all proper 104 selections. This unit is ready to be connected to a jukebox with the proper stepper or can be connected to an ipod or any home stereo with the Data Sync Wallbox Player System.
This wallbox is complete with all coin equipment. It is presently set for 1 PLAY for a NICKEL, 2 PLAYS for a DIME and 5 plays for a QUARTER. There is also a free play toggle switch installed. Turning on the switch all you need to do is make a selection. To return to the home position and coin play turn off the switch immediately after making a selection.
The cover is original chrome and in excellent condition for its age. The cover has ORIGINAL GLASS.
The buttons were cleaned and buffed.
Original Wurlitzer WCX Lock and 2 keys included.
Matching numbers on the top casting and the chasis id plate.
Note the slug rejector is proprietary to this wallbox. The coin slots on a 5205 are normally mounted on the chasis and this wallbox has the coin slots mounted on the slug rejector. In all the years of collection this is the only one I have seen this way making it a very collectible wallbox.
This wallbox is perfect for the purist collector.
