This is a AMI WALLBOX, MODEL WQ-200-3 that was cleaned and restored in working condition. It is one of the rarest and very hard to find wallboxes.
It was thoroughly washed with hot water and degreasing detergent. There is no nicotine residue. The unit was tested and makes all proper 200 selections. This unit is ready to be connected to a jukebox with the proper stepper or can be connected to an ipod or any home stereo with the Data Sync Wallbox Player System.
This wallbox is complete with all coin equipment including the FIFTY CENT SLUG REJECTOR. Installed on this wallbox is a FREE PLAY TOGGLE SWITCH. When turned on to FREE PLAY the unit will not require any coins. It will continue to make selections until the toggle switch is turned to the “COIN” position. To return the unit to coin play, turn the toggle switch to the coin position immediately after making a selection. This will return the unit to the “home” position (buttons do not latch) as opposed to the “credit” position (buttons latch). Also installed is a nickel credit toggle switch. When pressed once it is the equivelant of dropping a nickel into the wallbox.
This wallbox is presently set on DUAL PRICING. Some of the pages are set for SINGLE (10 cent selections) and others for EP (15 cent selections). On the bottom instruction plate are four "coin indication windows". The press of the nickel toggle switch (as mentioned above) will indicate 5c, another press of the button the light goes from 5c to 10c, and one more press 15c or more. These windows indicate how much credit is on the accumulator. If making a 10 cent selection, 10 cents is removed and if making a 15 cent selection 15 cents is removed from the credit accumulator.
This wallbox is presently set on ONE PLAY for a DIME or TWO NICKELS, THREE PLAYS for a QUARTER and SEVEN plays for a HALF DOLLAR for single selections and ONE PLAY for 15 cents, TWO PLAYS for a Quarter and FIVE plays for a HALF DOLLAR for EP selections. (Bonus selection for a half dollar). The coin instructions on the cover are matching.
The WAIT circuit on this wallbox has been wired such that when a selection is made the WAIT indication light illuminates. Almost all of the WAIT circuits on these wallboxes do not function because they are dependent on the control center of a jukebox. This wallbox's WAIT circuit will function when ANY selection is made.
The cover has been beautifully rechromed and repainted (AMI striping) and in GRADE ONE condition. (show chrome)
Front dome is plexiglass (they were never glass) with decals "200 selections" and "BONUS PLAYS FOR HALF DOLLAR".
The buttons are RED and WHITE.
Replacement Cylinder Lock with key included and works perfectly and key can be removed in either the locked or open position.
We can email a PDF of the service manual if requested. This manual is different than the regular AMI WX-200 series wallboxes.
