This is a WURLITZER 5210 wallbox, made in 1956 for the Centennial Model Wurlitzer 2000 jukebox. It was thoroughly washed with hot water and degreasing detergent. There is no nicotine residue. The unit has been in my collection, tested and makes all proper 200 selections. It has been connected to the Data Sync Wallbox Player System and works perfectly.
This is the highly sought after early version with the double coin entry. This particular wallbox is for the true collector in part because it has been stored in a climate controlled environment for the past forty years and has NO RUST or corrosion. Chasis is CLEAN.
The cover is CHROME and has been re-plated and in excellent condition. The top castings have also been replated and they have a mirror finish.
The buttons are original turquoise and have been cleaned and polished.
Original Wurlitzer lock and key.
THIS WALLBOX IS ORIGINAL with the pages which have the replacement WURLITZER stickers, in excellent condition. Original WURLITZER and 200 PLAYS 5210 pilasters. (There were two versions of the pilasters: early 5210's had a heavy duty pilaster weighing 1.6 oz later Wurlitzer went to a lightweight aluminum pilaster weighing 0.6 oz.) This is one of those long forgotten things that very few people are aware of.
The slug rejector is presently set on ONE PLAY for a Dime or Two Nickels and THREE PLAYS for a Quarter. (original factory setting) A free play toggle switch has been added so that when turned on the wallbox will make any selection when a letter and a number are pressed. To return to coin play simply turn off the toggle switch immediately after making any selection so the wallbox will stop in the home position as opposed to the credit position. Works with either coins and/or free play.
