The cover has been rechromed and in EXCELLENT condition.
The buttons were cleaned and buffed. The pages are Blue anodized.
Original lock and key are included and in working order. This wallbox is presently set to take Nickels (2 for one play), Dimes (1 Play) and Quarters (3 Plays). Complete with all coin equipment. It is also wired with a free play switch. One press of the momentary switch gives ONE play.
This is a 3W1-D. In 1955 the 3W1-D was introduced to support the multiple pricing model 100J jukebox. The factory setting for pricing was one play for a dime a three plays for a Quarter. The D was a DIVERTER added to the slug rejector so that every other nickel would by-pass the coin switches. Therefore every other nickel would strike the coin switch and record a credit. This diverter was also called a “flipper”. This particular wallbox features a blue titlestrip page with an improved locking mechanism in attaching it to the wallbox.
This is one of the nicest Seeburg 3W1 Wallboxes you will ever see.
