This is a quality reproduction sign made of aluminum and vinyl coated. It measures approximately 9 x 12 1/2 inches. It is made to the exact specifications of the original signs. There are no holes, they are simulated screws so the sign can be mounted with double sided tape, or you can drill out holes for mounting. The original signs are very rare and very expensive. This offers a reasonable alternative to own a piece of Interborough Rapid Transit (I.R.T.) history. The scan shows what the sign looks like but does not do it justice! These signs were generally located near the (I.R.T.) entrances to the subways and elevated lines. This is a limited production and if there is a second production, the prices will be much higher due to higher production costs.
